Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic form of yoga that considers a flexible and healthy body as the basis for spiritual development; it is obtained with dynamic exercises (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation. It differs from other forms of yoga by the use of vinyasa (synchronization of breathing with movement), of ujjayi breathing (a pranayama), of the bands (energetic closures) and of the dristis (looks) in combination in the practice of asanas (postures). These elements help the practitioner to concentrate and increase energy throughout the practice. Ashtanga Yoga practiced with correct breathing purifies the physical, mental and emotional body. The First Series (of asanas) not only heals the physical body but also the spirit. It allows you to develop and intensify concentration, controlling and purifying thought. Regular fact of this practice leads to joy, inner peace and balance and supports self-transformation and self-realization. Patanyali defines ashtanga yoga as the path to self-realization of being.

What yoga will we practice?
Together we will work an Asthanga / Vinyasa Yoga style.
We will combine the best of physical exercise with the philosophy of a traditional yoga, getting our body to flow and our mind to be free.
We will mix Vinyasa and Ashtanga postures, achieving a perfect Fitness Flow that will give you a feeling of flexibility, balance and agility, as well as gaining strength.
We will take care of our body alignment, correct postures, deepen our breathing and feel the benefits that yoga brings to our body and mind through practice.
