verything returns in a continuous circle, but with one more round, and the time passes very quickly, we are already in September! Summer fades away little by little, giving rise to the harvest, which each one will pick up in his own way. The fruits will depend on what has been planted, what has been watered, taken care of or, failing that, if at least they are aware of it, they will be transformed into important lessons that will pay for the fruits of the future.
It is a good moment for our dear Tibetan monk friends to return from the Gaden Shartse monastery, to bring us again messages of strength, peace, awareness, balance, subtlety, love and compassion, through their talks and lectures. , bids, rituals of offerings, initiations, songs, and consultations of astrology and medicine, which will be offered this September in the island of Ibiza.
Although the most important of all is his presence. Their knowing how to be, their way of facing things, both supposedly good and supposedly bad, their authentic smiles, their openness of mind always ready to not judge, not to separate the mundane from the spiritual, since they are parts of the same, but finding the balance between them that allows a happy life, in which the natural order is respected, as if, in fact, part of Nature itself were us.
We have been in dozens of rituals, initiations, teachings and pujas with Tibetan Lamas, and although we are not Buddhists, we have felt a connection with something powerful and pure, that surpasses cultures and religions. Because precisely those activities are for everyone, not only for those who follow this or that path. Because there really is no path, no teacher, no disciple, no suffering, no lack of it, if not pure essence, pure life. Always bathed, of course, with the pure water of humility, the essential basis that distinguishes a true master of life from a soul-bearer, driven by his need to save and be recognized as a savior.
In the tours we have made with the monks of this monastery, we have seen thousands of people approach with curiosity and leave with a calm face, full of happiness. Some understood what was done in the rituals and were amazed and many simply enjoyed their presence, their colors, the sounds and their songs, their smiles and their messages of optimism. We always hear that the Tibetan Lamas pray for all humanity, so that all sentient beings are free of suffering. They do not pray for them to do better, or to earn a place in an eternal paradise, if not for Peace in every way.
What we like most about these monks is that they do not make you dependent on them, they do not take you along their path, they do not want followers or followers, there is no one to follow, they teach you to work the mind, to use the tools that we have inside, and to be responsible for our lives and take the reins of it, to water our own garden without waiting for anybody to come and bring us flowers. To free the mind of prejudices, of falsehoods, of suffering and anguish, and above all of the mental exaggerations that so much distort the true spirituality of the human being. That is what gives one the strength and confidence to continue in this wonderful and impermanent blue planet.
From the 1st of September, we will once again have the privilege of visiting four Tibetan monks from the Gaden Shartse monastery Nyagre Khangtsen and a Tibetan doctor. In this group there are two geshes (masters in philosophy and Buddhist practice), one of them Larampa (teachers of teachers) with a lineage continued from the time of Budha. The monks will carry out individual activities, such as energy purifications, personal consultations with the Mo (oracle), and consultations of Tibetan medicine and astrology, give teachings, pujas, initiations and sessions of Chöd, as well as blessings of home and individuals, as always has done in Tibet. We will have direct translation from Tibetan to Spanish.
They will stay at the AyurVida house (Avenida de España 96, 1B), they will perform the ceremonies at the physiotherapy Clinics Center (Avenida de España 93-95), and several activities in different places on the island.
All the funds and donations that are collected will be entirely for his monastery where hundreds of monks live, which only survives from this type of tours and donations. Eternally grateful.
