Native American tradition has left us great wisdom showing us how to connect with the earth, listen to the forces of nature and their animals. Everything that inhabits the Universe harbors life and spirit. Everything that exists has a meaning and a reason for being. Everything speaks to us, the key lies in listening, being open to perceiving the messages and living in harmony with the rest of the realities that make up the Universe.
The concept of the animal totem is an archetype present in most cultures. The spirit of the animal accompanies us from birth and during the different stages of life. They are a reflection of the deepest self and represent the qualities, often hidden, repressed or ignored, that we need to integrate in this life.
“Every time someone says they do not believe in fairies; a fairy dies “is a metaphor that helps us understand that everything we do not see or recognize is as if it did not exist. Hence the importance of connecting with this animal of power and personal medicine, protective spirit and guidance that helps us in our daily lives.
